Pastor Jennifer Dorn serves as Senior Pastor at the Newton Falls First Church of God. Pastor Jennifer was raised in a Christian home and previously served as music director at Ravenna Church of God. She was ordained in 2018 following her three years of pastoral courses through Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana.
Pastor Jennifer served as Associate Pastor at the Newton Falls church for two and half years before assuming the position of Interim Pastor for one year. She was voted Senior Pastor here at Newton Falls Church of God in October 2020.
She is married to Andrew Dorn. They have one son, Drew, who is a student at Southeast High School.
Catherine Howard retired from teaching English and Gifted Education and being advisor of The Bulldog Bulletin student newspaper at Lakeview High School in 2015. She earned a bachelor's degree in Arts and Sciences and a master's degree in gifted education from Youngstown State University.
She has served the Newton Falls Church of God as secretary/treasurer since 2016 and teaches adult and children's Christian education classes.
Her favorite scripture is "Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus" Romans 8:38. She is guided by the scripture "For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto but to minister" in her service to others.
Catherine is the parent of three sons and grandparent to 6 boys, 3 girls. Her husband, Timothy, has passed on to be with the Lord.
